When i first joined it was an opportunity to buy or sell to people with similar interests. What i actually discovered was here is so much more. Ok so you can have discussions like on other platforms but here feels different. Its more like family. Ok so I don’t know all these people right? Have a question about an optic or what’s the best x for hunting in this area. You have generations of folks here in MT to answer. Need to find a something specific to a particular item? Again its like asking your uncle or grandad hey where can I find this.? Really appreciate its limited to Montana residents and isn’t a huge hit and run kinda platform.
The site is managed with care, maintained as courteous with some rules but not managed harshly or the wild west. Honored actually to be a part of MTGT and would recommend to anyone with interests in line with whats here. As the site is “free” though things take money to operate. If ya list something kick in a little. Hell kick a little and come on board. Better money spent then a 9.00 coffee!

Great site for local sales. Easy to use and a good community of people to deal with. The site operator does a great job keeping it running and adding useful features.

Great conversations, news updates, opinions, and sales of products much broader than just firearms. An system administrator that is responsive and allows for self policing of issues (but does step in when needed). If we had a way to install wooden crates and pickled eggs it would be the trading post of yesterday. Support your friends and rights within Montana.

All interactions on this site have been very productive, professional and trustworthy. Nice to have a site to sell and by from.

I check this site several times a day. Not just for firearms, but for the comments and photos relating to guns, ammo, and politics. This site is well run, and the folks that contribute comments are for the most part very courteous. I’ve sold, traded, and bought many firearms, and related outdoor items, thanks to this site. In the process, I’ve met many Montanan’s face to face, with the same interested I have. Enjoy this site while we can. The future of private sales is on the chopping block. Thanks for the administrator, Randy, for all he does to keep this site above board, and in service.

This site is truly unique in so many ways. Guns and items you may never see in stores nor gunshops. In fact gunshops are hard to find now with the big sporting stores taking over. So this site fills a void for folks like us who love guns. The great folks here are a bonus and great friendships are born here as well. Long live our right to bear arms.

I check on here several times daily.
Most of my interest is trades, since I’m retired and on a fixed income.
Every transaction I have had with folks here, over the years, has been good.
People seem to be respectful and honest. I especially like to see so many like minded individuals who support our Constitution on here.
I always use the ‘paid’ ads to help keep the site going and suggest others do the same. Just my opinion.
Randy… Thanks for keeping the peace here too. Old sites I have used were full of Trolls, Dip-shits and frauds.

Like minded people make buying and conversing enjoyable and I’ve met some good people during transactions. So far, the items for sale don’t suffer from the problems that “the other” sites suffer from like scams and price gouging (sometimes a bit higher than they should be, but you don’t have to buy.) The site is evolving and easy to navigate. “Boss” Randy seems to be a fair and honest moderator.
When I say that I check the site every day, I should add, multiple times.

Best gun site I’ve ever been on, bar none. Excellent classifieds section, great specific-group and general social media function, too. User friendly, very informative, and fairly regularly there some good deals. It’s searchable by locations, keywords, and other ways too. What’s not to like?

There are a thousand things I would change, but you are on the right path. We shouldn’t have to pay licenses or fees or membership dues in order to swap and sell guns. This site is what this sport is all about easy to use, inexpensive compared to other sites, and extremely friendly. There is none of the impersonal feel to the site you get on Gunbrokers or others.

This is a great way to communicate and sell or buy firearms and related gear. Randy keeps us up to date with all the political bills as they are going through the system which is great because it reminds you that we all need our voices heard in Helena and DC. The site is easy to use and there is not a bunch of sleazy adds thrown at you all the time. Join and find deals and stay informed.
