Winchester Model 670A in .243 Win.
22” barrel with the desired 3 position bolt safety. Has a very nice, 3 lbs. trigger pull that is adjustable. Comes with a newer gloss Leupold 3×9-40 Vari-x IIc in new Leupold rings that I just upgraded it to and zeroed. (See 1” square target photo at 100 yards with Federal 80 gr. soft point)
For those of you that don’t know, this is a Model 70 with less finish work. It also has a blind magazine instead of a floor plate. Still a nice accurate Model 70. Same action, same barrel, just not polished.
The model 670/670A was made from 1966-1979. The model 670 from 1966-1971 had a 2 position trigger safely on the side of the receiver. 1972-1979 model 670A changed to a 3 position bolt safety on the back of the bolt.
