This listing features a used Walther P.38 9x19mm Pistol. The handgun was brought back from the war by my wife’s father. Following his passing it was given to her and we have had it in our possession in a climate controlled safe for many decades.
This pistol was manufactured in the Walther plant in March of 1941, late in the month with a serial number of 6xxx. Matching serial proofs flanking the eagle/swaz military acceptance mark. The de-cocker functions properly.
Original blued finish and brown bakelite grips. My estimation is 75-80% blue, good bore & grips.
Metal finish shows minor high edge & holster wear. Scattered minor surface spotting on left side of slide and outside end of barrel.
This pistol also includes an officer’s hardshell holster which I believe to be the original one assigned with the pistol. The holster is in overall good shape but does have some areas where it had been re-stitched.
This gun is a WWII classic and will make an awesome addition to your collection. Want to ensure you know what you are buying so please message here with questions and offers. Thanks, Luke
