Adult owned 4×4 1988 Toyota Ext Custom Cab with a Chevy V8 swap(factory 3.0 motor failed) and 5 speed manual transmission.
Custom cabs were pretty rare, even less survived, but only 9 Ext Custom Cabs were ever made, yes nine!
Rear bench got 3 belts, roll bar and very generous leg space. Meticulously maintained, factory gauges works, Toyota everything minus motor, rust free, straight and complete. Everything was upgraded to hold 400lb torque reliably. LS block will bolt in to all existing components, that was the plan eventually, but it never happened. Less than 9000 miles on most upgrades, 120000 on a body.

-Fiberglass topper, bed was factory sprayed by a shop
-Upgraded speakers, radio works just fine

Only full synthetic 10w30 Royal Purple and full synthetic Red Line gear oil. 2k oil change intervals, K&N filters, ONLY lead free gas.
Was running and driving good, shifts good, stops good, was driven almost daily, including rv and boat towing, better mpg than factory 3.0. Heater is nuclear, 4×4 was working great. Never intended to be for sale.
It`s a 35 years old classic Toyota, NOT a new vehicle, it was used, but never abused and well loved by it`s owner, NOT perfect by any means, but in great condition especially for the year. If you looking for showroom condition truck- that`s NOT the one, but you will be hard pressed to find a cleaner example. Will not hesitate to give it to my kids to drive to Alaska.
