This was sold to me as a mg3/mg42/m53 mount 15 years ago but I can not find any pics of it in use. It may be for something else [I had a learning curve and also trusted some that were not trustworthy]. what it is beyond doubt is a vehicle anti aircraft mount for a vehicle.
I have been doing more picture searches and now think it may for the H&K 21 series.
