Pistol is wartime issue and a reasonable shooter though I have not shot it since the 80’s. I have had it since 1983. I believe the leather is original WW1 but the stock is original but post war [probably late 20’s early 30’s].. It does not fit on this pistol without fitting and I never felt comfortable to do that. There is a normal crack in the stock and a small piece missing on the other side. I have the missing chunk and will include with the set. There is a name and rank written under the lid.
