I bought this in 2022 and shot it about a dozen rounds. It’s a .50 caliber, modern, in-line muzzle loader. I think it shoots a 250gr round at like 1800fps so, it’ll knock something down in a hurry within 150 yards.
I’m just too accustomed to bolt action center-fire cartridges, I never could get into black powder. It is cool though, a simple and robust that uses standard shotgun primers to ignite the powder. It’s a break barrel (like most) and in excellent shape.
The rifle, a bottle of powder, a few boxes of primers, a couple dozen bullets and a scope on the gun ALL for $120.
I’m firm on price because if you’re into muzzies, this is a great value for a starter or veteran alike.
