For sale is a barrel and bolt kit from CMMG for an AR9. Was installed but never fired. The Radial Delayed Blow Back (RDB) system is a more evolved and softer shooting system than a typical strait blow-back AR9. These parts are compatible with all standard AR15/9 parts except it uses a bolt mounted ejector, so a purpose built AR9 lower with a fixed ejector will not work. Your best bet is to use the CMMG dedicated RDB lower for guaranteed reliability, and then build the upper however you want.
