This rifle has 80 rounds through it and is just barely broken in and it was broken in according to Bergara’s instructions. It’s a tack driver to say the least and shoots sub MOA groups using Hornady ELDX factory rounds. Just mount your scope and sight it in. It’s ready for hunting season.
These rifles and made in Spain and have a Remington 700 style action. The bolt is fluted and silky smooth. This rifle is insanely light (6.4 pounds) and has a 24” carbon fiber barrel with a composite stock. I cleaned the action lugs in the stock and the action screws have been torqued to factory spec.
The rifle includes a Leupold universal scope base (cost $50) as shown in the pictures of the rifle in the box (picture taken today 10/27) as well as the original box, manual, thread protector and original omni directional muzzle break which is mounted to the barrel. If you have a suppressor or different muzzle break, no problem. The rifle has a 5/8-24 thread making the swap fast and simple.
It currently has a Trigger Tech Diamond single stage trigger (cost $309) that can be included at for an addition $200. The trigger tech can be adjusted from 4 ounce to 32 ounce pull weight and is among the best triggers available or I can put the original adjustable Bergara trigger back in for a total cost of $1200 for the rifle with the scope mount. This assuming you don’t want the Trigger Tech trigger. The Trigger Tech was purchased from Cabelas just a couple months ago for $309. The rifle was purchased in May of this year from Murdochs for $1400 and change and is in absolutely pristine condition. I am selling it because I have another 6.5 PRC and don’t need two as my wife prefers her 6.5 Creedmore since she is a small fry.
