Selling my 1951 Savage 775A. It’s in great shape for It’s age, but not immaculate. This has seen the field a time or two in It’s life. Steel receiver (not the weaker alloy), 16ga, fixed full choke. Comes with 8 full boxes of shells (2 Winchester 1 1/8 oz #6, 2 Winchester 1oz #6, 2 Federal 1 1/18oz #4 high velocity, 2 Federal 1oz #7 1/2), plus a small handful of loose shells.
Savage purchased the rights to utilize the Browning A5 operating system, but was not allowed to copy its external design. The 775A is internally a Browning A5, but externally lacks the Browning “humpback”. If you’ve been wanting a Sweet Sixteen, but can’t afford one (like me) this is about as close as it gets. Asking $600 for the package (shells alone were just shy of $200). Open to partial trades. Located in Marysville, but can meet within a reasonable distance. Montana residents only.
