Springfield M1 Garand National Match semi-automatic rifle chambered in .30-06. The receiver dates to early 1945, while the Springfield-produced barrel is marked “NM” and dated “3-47.” Features include a National Match rear sight and a front globe aperture. The rifle retains its standard Parkerized finish. The stock has been sanded and oiled, with a boxed “SA/NFR” cartouche on the right side. It is bedded, so I have opted not to remove it from the stock. Comes with an original green canvas sling.
Metal remains in excellent overall condition. The wood shows light handling marks and minor scratches. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. The sling exhibits light wear. C&R eligible.
