How do YOU keep from being spammed and scammed while buying, selling and trading online?

What is your first clue when an online classified ad does NOT look legitimate?

One of the biggest reason social network marketplaces have become much more popular is because of the relative safety of being able to profile people somewhat before even contacting them. Many of us have been scammed and probably all of us have been spammed after emailing someone through contact forms online and in ads.

Very rarely does it happen here because only members can post ads and membership is approved by a local admin. But it does happen a lot on sites like Craigslist. There are things most of us do to avoid getting scammed.

I have 2nd hand info with buffalo bore hardcast 9mm. Works just fine with Montana brown bear. Another firearms instructor killed a grizzly rather effectively. You have to have good hits with good ammo.

Sadly, faced with the information publicly available to anyone who bothers to raise their head and look, leads me to a bleak forecast. I believe whatever we do will matter very little.
In 7 to 10yrs on the long end, this current remnant of freedom, whatever still remains of it now, will have completely vanished. Partizan talking heads wargaming strategies and grandiose distractions of political theater are no longer necessary... Palantir runs the show now.
However I will continue to fight because I myself am a lost cause, a loser, and a deplorable. So I find myself in like and good company as far as I am concerned.
