MCA TITLE 30 – CHAPTER 14 – Part 1 – 30-14-160 Firearms code “prohibit a financial institution from mandating firearms retailers to adopt a firearms code that is separate from a general merchandise retailer or sporting goods retailer.”

Where do I find in the Montana Constitution the law that Governor Greg Gianforte signed in 2023 prohibiting financial institutions operating in the state from requiring a credit card merchant code to track the purchases of firearms and ammunition separately from other types of purchases?

FIRST: This bill and it’s passage and signing into law did not happen by accident. It required pro-gun voters like you and me electing pro-gun candidates that support it. Then it required our direct involvement in every step of its life. ESPECIALLY during it’s legislative process to get the votes it needed to pass in the state house and senate. trust me, i have tried to work with FWP wardens many times in the past, just last year basically the same thing happened, i had a nice visit with the warden, he informed me that the evidence i provided would not stand up in court, if anything maybe a small fine but even that would be difficult to prove,, i not only had license plate, peoples description, there names that were in the block management sign in box, time of day , 20 years ago i worked with the wardens on several different poaching cases and back then there were citations issued and guilty verdicts, a lot has changed unfortunately. the wardens hands are tied, i feel bad for them but there is only so much that can be done,,just to damn many slob hunters ,, can you just see the guys bragging about their great hunt,we shot 18 times from the road, killed this bastard , wounded 2 more , wow, what a great hunt.
