I believe this rifle was produced in 1913. That was determined from a list of serial numbers from Winchester and I have no idea of the accuracy. The “Half Nickel” description is the closest I could find but sure can’t be positive. The rifle has been in the family for over 80 years. I used it about that long ago and I had 2 brothers that I know used it before me. It is in used condition and hasn’t been used for many years but I’m sure it still works just like it did in past years.
