I have a sporterized Kar98k I’m considering letting go of. Testing the waters to see if there is any interest. I bought it as a winter project but have decided to go in another direction with my funds. It is a 1942 Steyr with the Waffenamts. The gun has been reblued, drilled and tapped, and has an “aftermarket” stock to accommodate the new bolt handle. I have all the parts to replace the rear sight (period correct for the gun), but haven’t gotten around to putting them in. This would be a good project gun for someone who has the time to invest in it.

I do not need to get rid of this, and would be happy to hold on to it for the future, but I will if the money, or trade, is fair or something that I am interested in. Just make an offer. With trades I’m open to most anything as long as it isn’t a piece of trash
