According to the online serial number lookup this Smith and Wesson Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman .357 was manufactured in 1966. It has a 3-inch barrel, an adjustable rear sight, its original factory wood grips with both original medallions, left and right. As you can see it has an accessory trigger extension and an accessory grip extension, both options making it far more comfortable to shoot. There is a very, very faint beginning of a turn line on the cylinder. Otherwise, the blue is 99% or better. The grips are 100% as is the bore. This revolver was test-fired at a gun range only but never carried or used. It comes with a padded carry box but no original box or paperwork.
