Just in time for the Quigley Match – June 14-15
This outstanding Shilo Sharps Model 1874 # 3 Sporter, in 45-70 caliber was produced in 2010. It was ordered with several upgrades to include:
30″ Heavy Octagon Barrel
Extra Fancy Wood
AA Finish
Pack Harden Finish
Brass Escutions
Custom Barrel Bedding
Pewter Forearm
# 111 Front Sight
# 103 MVA Long Range Buffalo Soule Tang Sight
Pack Case Hardened Metal Buttplate
MVA Hadket Eye Disc
Also included is a custom fitted Pelican Rifle Storm Case # IM3410, cleaning rod, Brooks Original Postal 45-70 Bullet Mould (made from exact measurements of chamber/bore of this rifle). I will also include about 120 loaded rounds, 100 empty brass casings, four cans of 2FG Swiss Black powder and about 900 Federal Large Magnum Rifle # 215 primers. I also have all new reloading equipment including lead pot, bullet lubricator, etc that I will sell seperately if interested.
The rifle is in Mint condition and has only fired about 300 rounds. I am told the current wait for a new Shiloh Sharps is about 20 months. This is a fine rifle and a pleasure to shoot, but my 70+ year old eyesight does not let me shoot 1,000 yards any more with open sights. Located in Livingston.
