Testing the waters on my custom built 243 1:8 twist Savage Action with a Shillen Barrel. Action has been trued on a lathe, lugs lapped, barrel is fully free floating with the channel matching the contour. Action bedded to the Boyd’s At-One Laminate Stock with Marine Tex . Has the upgraded squared recoil lug and a Salmon River Solutions full length Arca rail. Will also sell with sling. No scope or rings included. Barrel has ~400-500 rounds through it but will go to 1500+. Pictured are some of the worst groups I have gotten and they were at 185 yards. Also can sell with ~200 pieces of Hornady Brass
Ran this as my NRL Hunter Competition rifle this season and it did very well. As such it has plenty of scratches and imperfections but it still is an amazing shooter. I’m just ready to move to something better but not in a hurry to sell
