I have a gen1 Ruger American 7.62X39.
The rifle is barely shot; it was my backup, so almost never got used as I have another identical rifle. I smoothed the bolt out; I knock the rough edges off with a very fine file, polish with 600 grit, then cycle with lapping compound. The action feels great.
I switched it to an AR magwell.
I have three 20rd magazines and one 30.
It has a Primary Arms SLx 3X prism with the 7.62/.300BO reticle.
I had this zeroed with subsonic ammo and a suppressor ; it shot ragged hole groups at 50 yards with Hornady Sub-x and brown bear 196 gr. This rifle shot very well with Barnaul 123…around the 1.5” mark.
I have a couple hundred rounds of wolf ammo I will sell to the buyer for .30 cpr if interested.
I will split the optic if desired. Price is with the optic: take $200 off without the prism.
