Remington Model 31 TC aka.. The Ball Bearing Repeater.
The predecessor to the 870 and yes it is that smooth of an action. This one dates back to 1949 and originally purchased in Illinois in 1950. It is also hand engraved by Remington. I’ve had it for some time and have shot a few clays with it. Aquired it from the son of the original purchaser in 2017 and looking to part ways with it.
It functions and performs like it did the day it left Remingtons factory. This model of the 31 is relatively rare as only small batches were made during the 31’s production run and would add to a great collection.
