This is a nearly brand-new Marlin 39A Mountie made in 1966. The Marlin 39A is considered to be the very finest lever action 22 caliber rifle ever made. It was in constant production for over 100 years in the USA. It has a straight buttstock and 20-inch barrel. This rifle has been in my safe, unused, for 25-30 years. Honestly, I believe it has less than 50 rounds through it. I have never shot it. I bought it and put it in my safe and that’s where is been ever since. It is in mint condition with no dents, dings, scratches, scuffs, or marks on the stocks, barrel, and receiver. These Mounties are very rare and highly sought after.
