I’ve got two Kimber 1911’s. One has to go.
Kimber Pro Carry II (commander) Stainless
Every thing other than the slide, the frame, the barrel, and beaver tail have been replaced with parts from Wilson, Nighthawk, or Ed Brown. It has the Wilson Combat Flat Wire 1911 Commander Recoil Spring Assembly, removing the need for the dumb little retention tool and making it field strippable. Nighthawk drop in trigger system, extra power firing spring, wilson combat firing pin, Ed Brown main spring housing. It cycles like a dream, and probably settled around 2.5lb trigger pull.
Kimber Ultra Carry CDP. Same deal everything but the slide, frame, barrel and beaver tail have been replaced with parts from Wilson, Nighthawk or Ed Brown. It has had all the same things replaced as the Pro carry. Nighthawk DTS as well. Same 2.5lb trigger pull.
Either one $1200 OBO. Your choice. I’m keeping the other one. Either will come with one magazine (factory kimber) and box.
