For your consideration is a beautiful H&K USP Compact in .40SW with original box, paperwork, and mags. This is the version with the traditional DA/SA trigger and the decocker/thumb-safety for SA carry. This pistol has the KG proofmark (1996), which is first year production for this model. The only downside to this particular pistol is that it has two 90s-era mags that are capped at 10 rounds. On the upside, full-capacity factory mags for this model are still available.
I bought it in 1997 with the intent of using it as a duty weapon, but my department at the time bucked the national trend and never adopted the .40SW caliber (fun bonus fact: we had to buy our own sidearm and it had to be 9mm DA pistol or a .38spl revolver). As a result, this just sat in my gun safe for the past 25+ years and was almost never fired. I think less than 250 rounds total is a very safe guess. I had not planned on selling this particular pistol, but an upcoming cross-country move has me selling some items to help cover the cost.
I am asking $800 FTF in the Billings area, but I would consider traveling a bit if needed. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like additional photos. Thanks for looking!
