I bought this off my son in law it was his build. I bought a 5.56 upper to go with it since it can take either one. Both uppers have optics, I’m not sure the brand. But they are nice. The barrel length on the 300 upper is 7.5” maybe a bit longer. The 5.56 is a 10” barrel I believe. I went to gun smithing school and list interest so I have this rifle/pistol that I never us.
