NEW TO THIS SITE AND TESTING THE WATER. For sale is a three screw Ruger flattop in 44 mag. This has to be a first year production (1955) even though the letter from Ruger (which is included) says it shipped in 1956. Ruger made over 1400 44 Blackhawks in the first year and the serial number on this one is 917. If there are any hard core Ruger single action folks out there you want to consider this one to own. This is a used revolver that has the appearance of some use. However it is tight and functional and a great piece of gun history. I believe I’m light on the price at $800 but that’s my cash price. Figure $1000 for trades.
