i've had more 1911's than i can remember... bought 32 of them from williams police department in arizona... today i have exactly zero and other than their historical and nostalgic value, i have no use for them... that 2-piece feed ramp is a deal killer for me... like the harley davison... it's an american classic but of little use otherwise... they do not like hollow points and even cast flat nose bullets can be a problem... when scores come down to tenths of a second, i don't need to be wasting time clearing failures to feed or any of the other fun little tricks they can throw at you (i have to disconnect the grip safety because they don't always disengage for me)... no argument about their triggers but in faster events, i don't really notice my trigger... i have to admit i chose a canik sfx rival because of its trigger... i carry a g23 and when in the bush, a serious magnum revolver...

love this guy but can't handle these hour long vids... youtube must be paying by the hour because so many of these guys are stretching out their vids to a point where i won't even click on them if they're longer than 20 minutes...
