How can non-residents unable to join here transact with Montana Gun Trader Members? at FirearmsFriendly.com

Only Montana residents are allowed to join this site and use contact methods including email and private messages as well as discuss below ad posts on their streams. This is limited for obvious security concerns and to help dramatically reduce spams and scams.

Problems:

I am a non-member or non-resident and want to inquire about an ad posted here, how can I do so?

I don’t want to share my contact info in ads but sometimes have items I might want to sell outside of Montana?

I keep getting banned at other sites for sharing links to my ads posted here.

I’m interested in items outside of Montana but non-residents can’t post or share links to their ads posted elsewhere.

Solution? That’s why we’ve built FirearmsFriendly.com and created the Montana Gun Trader group at https://firearmsfriendly.com/groups/montana-gun-trader/.

That site is identical form and function to this site without a classifieds option. Simply share links to your ads in groups there instead so you have fewer posts to worry about. Posts in those groups automatically expire after 90 days. So you don’t have to worry about babysitting posts. Invite your non-member friends to share in that group or simple on stream just like we do here.

I am a 20 year operator and trainer in the emergency roadside service industry. Starting with a childhood and teen years spent in school, farming and family construction in Miles City, MT. I love this caliber, it's common, accurate and plentiful. I would dare to say if I had to scavenge around for some it would be as common as .22 or 12ga.

I use Hornady .308 eld match 168gr and black .223 rem 75 bthp for ar's and predator rifles. With a 200 yd zero, bullet drop for both calibers are almost identical. Makes adjustments simple, not perfect, but has been working great for me..

Cal -- Muzzle 100yd 200yd 300yd 400yd 500yd
.308 -- 2700, +2.0, 0.0, -8.2, -23.5, -47.0
.223 -- 2790 , +1.9, 0.0, -8.2, -24.1, -49.3
