Click print or download this bill of sale below. I am no attorney nor have I ever played one on TV. Contact an attorney if you need legal advice about guns. Montana does not currently require a bill of sale for private firearms transactions and we plan to keep it that way. That doesn’t mean you should or should not. Tulsi Gabbard’s new stance on why we must protect The Second Amendment?

Tulsi Gabbards support for the Second Amendment historically has been questionable. Her new “Why I’m leaving the Democrat Party” podcast starting at the 15 minute mark sure sounds like she’s coming around to understanding why we fight so hard. If she had this position in the past, she certainly never shared it publicly. This makes me feel cautiously optimistic. Find a short piece of that in the video below. Whereas in the past she has supported enhanced background checks, does she still? Does she not realize that universal background check enforcement would require universal firearms registration? That same more tyrannical than ever before party she now has left would know exactly where to knock on doors if they managed to pass universal background checks. Find all of her gun control votes at https://justfacts.votesmart.org/candidate/key-votes/129306/tulsi-gabbard/37/guns.

Poll: The most important issues that I think the MSSA should tackle in the 2023 legislative session should be…

Gary from the Montana Shooting Sports Association is asking for help deciding issues to address in the upcoming legislative session. See each issue and it’s description embedded below the poll to understand each issue, then take the poll, share and comment. It is limited to seven choices to help us narrow the results better. Reply to his email or see his request quoted from a recent email below. Join MSSA NOW HERE to help fund the fight and be sure to get on his email list so you receive these updates. Also be sure to join the Politics and Alerts Group Here to tune in to these and more and get legislative alerts.

MSSA legislative agenda for the next legislative session. MSSA gets pro-gun bills through every session of the Legislature. Our wish list for the session that will begin in January of 2023 is contained in our legislative candidate questionnaire (CQ) for this election cycle. This wish list is too long and must be pared back to 3-5 items. We just don’t have the bandwidth to do a good job of ramrodding more bills than that. I need your help in pruning and prioritizing this wish list. Please study through the CQ. It is available at: https://progunleaders.org/CQ2022/Leg2022CQ.html

Please get back to me with your top five choices for bills for MSSA to push next session. Also, please list these in the order of priority you prefer, most important to least important. Just give me the question numbers (yes, I know the CQ questions are misnumbered – brain fade on my part – just use the question numbers there). Thanks for your help with this!
