I was going to turn this into a 35 Whelen but decided it shot to well as is and turned my attention to other projects. Now I’ve got other builds I need to fund so something has to go.
This rifle is as accurate as any plastic stocked rifle. I have never shot a factory round over an inch. It loves factory Barnes 175 lrx. I hand load 125 Nosler BT at 3300 fps and it is a half inch rifle. (Can give you my recipe)
Stock is near perfect. No dents dings or scratches. Has a scratch in floor plate from hunting. Other than that it’s in almost new condition. Action is as smooth as a tikka. Feeds like butter and ejects perfectly. If you’re a classic style rifle guy, you won’t find a better used one. These currently go new for 1600 to 1800 IF you can find one. Asking $1300
