This started as basic stainless Ruger takedown. Original barrel and stock will come with it. It now has a threaded carbon wrapped Volquartsen barrel and the backpacker stock. Still comes apart with a push of a button and twist. Doesn’t lose zero because rail is attached to barrel, not receiver. Can store extra mags in stock. Also has low profile stock top if someone wanted to use factory barrel and open sights. Also has aftermarket adjustable trigger currently set at 2.5 pounds.
It’s a great gun, and accurate, but I never need to take it apart, so I really don’t need the takedown.
