The back door operator instruction sheet shows a manufacture date of 9-9-29, exactly one month before the start of the Great Depression. Put a nickel in, pull the handle; the 3 reels spin smoothly and quickly until they click-click-click to a stop. It pays out correctly on all winning combinations. In addition to those listed on the front lower panel award card, this machine has a FREE-PLAY LEMON symbol on the first reel; whenever it lands on the pay-line, you get one free replay. The original-finish wooden sides have their original gold leaf stenciling in excellent condition and intact original MILLS NOVELTY decals. The metal castings have no defects, just a very attractive patina; something lost to restoration. ANTIQUES are ORIGNAL ONLY ONCE! This vintage Montana slot machine has a great look.
