Uintah Precision bolt-action upper receiver chambered in .223 Wylde, configured for use with a standard AR-15 lower receiver. The design provides a manually operated, bolt-action system within the AR platform. The receiver assembly has been professionally Cerakoted for surface protection and uniform finish. The bolt features a three-lug design that produces a short bolt throw, functioning similarly to a compact or “mini” action layout.
This upper is used. It does not include a trigger assembly. Compatibility depends on trigger height, as an excessively tall trigger can interfere with bolt operation. The configuration allows the use of alternate barrels available from Uintah Precision and MOS-TEK, enabling caliber or performance customization within the same platform. The bolt’s geometry is engineered for reduced lift angle and smooth cycling in operation.
I made a spacer designed to minimize bolt travel distance, maintaining a compact bolt stroke. it replaces buffer spring to reduce resistance when running the bolt back.
