This rifle shoots great, and is in pretty great condition. Two dings can be seen on the right side of the fore-end of the stock, and when borescoped, pretty minimal corrosion can be seen. I’d give the bore an 8.5/10.
This rifle is a bit odd as far as twist rate goes, it has a 1/32 twist as opposed the T/C’s normal 1/48. It shoots conicals well, but will also shoot patch round ball very well with a 60gr charge of FFg.
Set trigger is very nice and tuned well. The lock is surprisingly nice, evidenced by the fact that the gun has literally never misfired on me in the 200 or so shots I’ve put through it.
Whether you want to punch holes in paper, or a nice gun for Heritage season, this one will do it. I’m hoping to sell for $450, or even better, trade for a 32 cal percussion gun. Other trade offers will be entertained though. Thanks for checking it out!
