Selling my Springfield Armory M1 Garand and complete ammunition/accessory package.
Purchased by me through the CMP approximately 15 years ago. CMP paperwork/certificate is no longer available, so it is being represented and priced based on the rifle itself rather than documented CMP paperwork.
Springfield Armory receiver, serial 5,478,938. Rifle has a mixture of USGI Springfield and H&R components, including HRA trigger housing/op rod. This is a very nice shooter-grade USGI Garand rather than an advertised “correct” or collector-grade rifle.
Metal and wood are in very good overall condition. Bore is bright and shiny with no visible pitting or corrosion. Rifle has been stored indoors and cared for.

Ammo disclosure: The older mixed surplus ammunition varies cosmetically and some cases show age/tarnish. It has been individually inspected and obviously damaged/corroded rounds were removed. Some rounds show small primer marks/indentations consistent with previously chambered ammunition. Selling the older surplus as surplus ammunition in its pictured condition. The Greek HXP ammunition is substantially cleaner and includes 14 original boxes.
