Very clean, excellent condition, Sig Sauer P225 9mm pistol. This P225 was manufactured in Switzerland and was used by the Swiss police. It was part of a buyback program many years ago where an importer, PW arms in Richmond WA, purchased and imported these pistols into the U.S. after they were retired from the Swiss police department. This pistol was made in 1979 or 1980 and is in excellent used condition. It has the “Montage Suisse” stamp on the slide along with Swiss proof marks and comes with and original Sig 8 round zipper back magazine. When I bought this gun, I installed an original Sig rebuild kit. I have put exactly 16 rounds through it since then. It functions perfectly. Everything is original on this gun (has the Sig short reset trigger installed). This gun has a heel magazine release as that was how the Swiss police ordered them from Sig. This is a very, very, well-made pistol. This pistol has night sights installed, and they are still bright. This is a true classic handgun. This gun has been in my safe, unfired, for 20 years. Additionally, I have 3 brand new, original, genuine, Sig Sauer magazines for this gun. I will sell then for $75.00 each if you want them. Comes with the box the gun came in when I bought it and the original Sig P225 user’s manual. You can see, I paid $449.99 for this gun 20 years ago and they have appreciated significantly since then.
