Worked great for wife, but she inherited something else. Don’t need both rifles. Willing to sell with or without scope.
Suggested retail (new) is $840. Willing to part with for $500.
Scope is a Vortex DIAMONDBACK® 3-9X40, which retails (new) for $350. Willing to part with for $200. Works great and we quite like it; can leave on and sell as a package, or we’ll happily keep this. Up to buyer.
Here’s the blurb from the manufacturer, Savage (note: this model recently went out of production):
“The 11/111 Lady Hunter is literally built around the needs of female hunters. Its oil-finish American walnut stock features a raised comb custom-tailored to a woman’s contours, as well as a shortened length of pull and slender grip and fore-end. The balance point of the 20-inch, light-taper barrel has been shifted, making it feel lighter, yet it provides enough weight to absorb recoil.
FEATURES
Lightweight design custom fitted to female shooters
Detachable box magazine
Oil-finish American walnut stock
20-inch, carbon steel, button-rifled, light-taper barrel
Drilled and tapped for scope mounts”
Note: there are a few small dings (strictly aesthetic blemishes) in the walnut stock. Otherwise in great shape and seldom used – probably a half dozen hunts over the last five years.
