This Remington is in great shape and is in the original configuration and hasn’t been destroyed by someone trying to make it into their next deer rifle.
Remington wanted a shot at the military contracts in the 1940s so they put this up to replace the Springfield 1903 and it is a lot lighter and handier. Plus they are great shooting rifles.
