The Winchester Model 70 Featherweight is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .300 Winchester Short Magnum with a 24-inch barrel and a three-round internal magazine. This limited edition version was produced in Columbia, South Carolina, during the early production period of that facility. The rifle features the Featherweight configuration known for its lighter profile and traditional Model 70 controlled-round feed action. It is an American-made model with standard bolt handle and receiver design consistent with the series.
