Pietta 1858 revolver target model with leather holster

Pietta 44 1858 Remington percussion, target model. Has some handling marks. Very accurate, the target sights make a huge difference in shooting. From sand bags at 30 paces first 3 shots, using conical, were touching each other just above center mark.The advantage to the Remington over the colt models is its heavier frame and durability, longer cylinder and ease of removing cylinder. Colt models have better balance and natural feel in your hand and for point and shooting I’ll take a colt everytime, but if you want to carry extra cylinders or use a 45 LC conversion cylinder, the Remington is the choice.
