1982 AM General, M35a3 6×6 Military Truck, which was upgraded by the govt in 1993, with a new Catipillar 3116, 6 cylinder turbo diesel engine, Allison automatic transmission, Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS), power assist steering and brakes. Brakes look brand new, it has 7 new, oversized tires, new radiator, new water pump, new belts & hoses, new batteries, new CTIS computer, new LED headlights and a new air dryer. The old radiator sprung a leak and while i was changing it out, i replaced the water pump, belts and hoses. It needs a few minor cosmetic repairs and a few inexpensive parts for the (CTIS). Parts are readily available and inexpensive, for this type of truck. The bed is a rare 17′ long x 8′ bed. The passenger side of the bed opens and folds down and so does the rear tailgate, for easy loading and unloading. The Truck drives in 4×4 but can be switched by a lever into 6×6 all terrain mode.
