Unusual MODEL 70 serial number indicates made 1949, this gun is in 338 Win Mag, from all the research at Cody museum and Winchester gurus back East this may be a transition model offered just after the WWII and may have been a custom order for a client. Winchester used several different actions and safeties just after the war to produce rifles. Book says it could be as high as $3500. Blue is excellent as well as bore, stock shows a bit of wear. Serial number is 106724 no letters before or after. Winchester red recoil pad.

Japanese made Sightron S1 3–9 mil dot scope. This is an older used scope and shows some wear but the glass is good and it holds zero. Mounted in rings that came from a Tikka T3.
Sighted in and ready. Have the last target, five shots into .51 inches.
Redding body reloading die, Lee Collett neck die, Forster benchrest seating die and 100 rounds loaded ammo. H4350 with 147 grain Hornady ELD M at 2700 ft./s
(Hornady lists those as target bullets but I have shot numerous deer elk and antelope with them and they do great.)

It has scarcely been used if at all. The blue is 100%; the finish on the wood 100% as well, and also the bore 100%. It has factory vent rib and factory checkering. It has a 3-inch chamber and a 27 ¼ inch barrel. I have no idea what choke this shotgun is and can’t find information telling me the answer to this question. The recoil pad appears to be original to this shotgun, not something installed later; it appears that the stock has never been cut. According to the online serial number lookup this Smith and Wesson Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman .357 was manufactured in 1966. It has a 3-inch barrel, an adjustable rear sight, its original factory wood grips with both original medallions, left and right. As you can see it has an accessory trigger extension and an accessory grip extension, both options making it far more comfortable to shoot. There is a very, very faint beginning of a turn line on the cylinder. Otherwise, the blue is 99% or better. The grips are 100% as is the bore. This revolver was test-fired at a gun range only but never carried or used. It comes with a padded carry box but no original box or paperwork.
