Pistol is wartime issue and a reasonable shooter though I have not shot it since the 80’s. I have had it since 1983. I believe the leather is original WW1 but the stock is post war. It does not fit on this pistol without fitting and I never felt comfortable to do that. There is a normal crack in the stock [see pics] and a small piece missing on the other side [again, see pics]. I have the missing chunk somewhere if I can find it. There is a name and rank written under the lid. See pictures, ask any questions.
