Marlin 39A with 24 inch barrel with period correct Lyman 56MC receiver sight made in 1948. The sight alone is worth 250.00-300.00. This rifle is in exceptionally good condition, the wood buttstock and forend is in near perfect condition as is the bluing. These Marlins are considered to be the best 22 caliber rifles ever made. I have had this rifle for well over 30 years and it just sits in the safe. It shoots 22 short, long, and long rifle cartridges. This classic lever action rifle is all original and has never been altered or modified with the exception of the addition of the highly sought after Lyman receiver sight. Please see the pictures and feel free to ask questions. Thank you for your time.
