Mainly looking to trade. Got this revolver some months ago, and love it. It’s an extremely well crafted firearm and is built like a tank. Locks up tight, great trigger, and accurate with both the 460 loads and 45 colt loads I shot out of it. Makes an incredible hunting revolver. Recoil isn’t too bad with full house 460 loads because it’s heavy. My 45 colt blackhawk with Buffalo bore was worse. Gun has about 75 rounds of 460 and 75 rounds of 45 colt through it.
While I love it, I’m looking for a big bore revolver a bit smaller that I’ll shoot more and makes more sense to carry. Ideally in 44 mag or 454 casull (or similar), and with a 6+ inch barrel. In that case, mainly looking to trade for a different big bore revolver in one of those calibers.
Includes:
– BFR .460 with original box
– ultradot gen1 30mm with original box-
– 5 rounds of hornady 200gr ftx 460
– 18 rounds of 300gr dgh hornady ammo
– 20 rounds of h110 reloads with 240gr xtp mags
– a little (i think 28 pcs) extra brass, 7 of those primed and ready
– Lee 460 carbide dies with a shellholder
– RCBS 45 col5 dies with a shellholder
– around 100 pcs tumbled 45 colt brass
I’d be interested in trading for, potentially + cash:
– Colt, Ruger, SW, FA, or another bfr in 44 mag or 454 casull
– may consider other big bore, more niche calibers that fit in a similar frame size (i.e. 480 ruger, maybe 41 mag)
– no Taurus
– stainless guns preferred
– may consider a nice lever gun in 45-70
Open to reasonable offers. I would also subtract $200 if you don’t want the ultradot.
