M1 carbine, Standard Products receiver in 2mil. range (so 1943-44). Low wood stock wearing San Benicia arsenal markings, Type 2 adjustable sight, barrel fitted with bayonet mount indicating Korea or Vietnam era rework but no import marks. So with a mix of parts don’t consider this a collector, even though SP made only ~4% of total M1 carb production. It shoots well with a very good bore, “runs” flawlessly, and is great fun to shoot. Comes with 1 magazine, but no 30 Carbine ammo (which is easy to find). Prefer FTF cash sale near Missoula to legal MT resident with ID. $1,175 firm.
