Kimber of America .22-250 built in Clackamas, OR. This a Sporterized M96 Swedish Mauser built by Kimber. I have owned the rifle for 13 years but is has rarely been fired. In 2021, Ricochet Custom Firearms installed a Timney Custom Trigger and bedded the bolt action. Comes with a Vortex Crossfire 3×9 scope and 4 boxes 20 round boxes of Herter’s 55gr SP.
Note: I haven’t fired but a few rounds in this rifle since 2021 when the custom work was completed. I recently went to the range and fired about 20 rounds. I had two (2) instances when the rifle did not fire. The primer did not show any marks and when rechambered, they fired perfectly. I have included a picture of some of the rounds I shot showing the strong primer strikes. I am not a gunsmith and am offering this package at a lower cost (and including $100 worth of ammo) to anyone who wants to figure out what may be happening. As I mentioned, it was 2 out of 20 shots.
Must have a Montana Driver’s license.
Please reach out if you are interested, have questions, or would like to inspect the rifle. I also have additional Hornady & Nosler Varmint rounds available if you are interested in purchasing along with the rifle.
