I have a collection of factory barrels that required relief cuts in order to remove them from their original actions. For this reason, I do not recommend use in their current state and highly recommend the discretion of a trained gunsmith in order to ensure safety for all parties involved. These barrels would be ideal for training or practicing setting on tenons, mistake correction, and re-chambering for a new or learning gunsmith.
