Serious trade interest in a quality Martin or Gibson acoustic guitar. This is not your average M1A, and I’m looking for a guitar of comparable quality and value.
Offered is an early Springfield Armory M1A assembled during the U.S. GI surplus era and featuring a substantial collection of authentic USGI and National Match components. This rifle has excellent mechanical condition, outstanding iron-sight accuracy, and the kind of configuration that should appeal to both shooters and M1A/M14 collectors.
WHAT MAKES THIS ONE SPECIAL
• Early Springfield Armory M1A receiver
• USGI SAK National Match M14 barrel — dated November 1972
• TRW USGI bolt
• HRA USGI operating rod
• HRA USGI trigger group with a clean two-stage pull
• USGI walnut M14 stock with circled “P” proof
• National Match M2A rear sight with positive, repeatable clicks
• USGI gas system and chrome USGI gas piston
• USGI fiberglass/phenolic handguard
• A.R.M.S. M21/M14 steel quick-detach mount
• Original buttstock cleaning kit included
• Bright bore with sharp rifling and no pitting
• Excellent overall mechanical condition
This rifle has exceptional iron-sight accuracy and has consistently produced reliable hits on steel out to 500 meters. It has excellent balance, a very nice trigger, and the combination of early receiver, USGI components, and National Match parts makes this a particularly interesting M1A.
LOOKING FOR A GUITAR 🎸
My #1 trade interest is a quality Martin or Gibson acoustic guitar.
I’m especially interested in higher-end instruments, but I’m willing to consider different models depending on condition and value.
Possible trades:
M1A → Martin/Gibson
M1A + cash → higher-end Martin/Gibson
Martin/Gibson + cash → M1A
Other interesting trades considered
I may consider other quality firearms or collectibles as part of a trade, but a nice Martin or Gibson acoustic is what I’m really after.
I’m not in a rush to sell or trade this rifle. I’m looking for the right deal and the right guitar.
PHOTOS / DETAILS
I currently have one photo posted and will be adding additional photos. I can also provide detailed photographs of the receiver, barrel markings, USGI components, stock, sights, and overall condition to genuinely interested parties.
If you’ve got a nice Martin or Gibson sitting in the case that you’d consider trading, send me a message with the model, condition, and what you’re thinking.
Trades and offers welcome. Serious inquiries only.
