This is a custom 30-40 Krag, built on a Ruger No. 3 falling block single shot action and factory barrel. Action tolerates higher pressures than the classic Krag 1898, so can be loaded to velocities approaching .308 Win. And this particular rifle shoots these faster loads VERY well. Ready to scope.
