This pistol was nearly unfired when I got it 15 yrs ago. I later changed all of the internals to the best name parts available, with some recent updates. This Colt comes with all of the original (in new condition) internal parts, and can be converted back to its 100% original condition at any time. The pistols frame and slide was professionally accurized, then had all of the new, high-end internal parts hand fitted. This pistol routinely shot 1 inch to 1.5 inch groups at 15 feet depending on the shooter. This pistol is sprung and tuned to fire 200gr HP bullets, but is also reliable with the standard, high quality 230gr ball ammo. So far Approx. 600 rnds have been fired with no reliability issues since the upgrades fives yrs ago.

*Bore Condition: The current Strm-Lake match barrel is bright w/ sharp rifling. The original COLT barrel is the same.
*Overall Condition: The pistol retains about 95% of its finish. There are some scattered cloudy finish and freckles of faint frost which I believe will polish out. Basically light operational wear.
*Mechanics: The action functions perfectly, but as with any accurized 1911, it sometimes does not like low-buck ammo.
